Then suddenly, a news about the suicide of a teenage girl attracted me. In Biratnagar, a seventeen years old girl hanged herself and hearing that news her boyfriend of nineteen years old also killed himself. I wondered what the hell is happening to teenagers these days? I have heard that Love is blind. Seeing the suicide of them I remembered about the similar situation faced by me.
When I was of 8 years old, I fell in love with my English teacher. I used to listen her very carefully. I used to do her homework daily. But, I encountered the tragedy when she married my neighbor. I was furious with my neighbor uncle, I was invited to that wedding but I refused to attend. All of my family member were surprised. Usually no child refuses the wedding. No need to say i was very sad because of my recently encountered tragedy. I stopped visiting and stopped talking with him since then. That was my first love as well as first breakup. I was pretty sad then. I planned of throwing stone at my neighbor, I planned of throwing his clothes in dirt, I punctured his bicycle, I beat his goat so harshly that it nearly died, I stole the mangoes from his garden. All because he married the one whom I loved. And, I was only 8 years old studying in grade 3.
After marriage she stopped teaching. I was not interested to read with my new teacher. Gradually, my English became poor. (You might feel about the poorness of English in this blog as well) When I see them chatting happily I used to get hurt. I feel like killing myself. I tried to hang myself too but it pained a lot at my neck. So I give up the idea of suicide. Later, I changed the school as my school was up to grade 3 only and they migrated from there. Slowly, she started to fade from my memory.
Sometimes I think about that childish love and smile. Can you imagine Eight years child madly in love with 24 years old woman ?
